NewTechnix have stated that Shigeru Miyamoto revealed to the Italian press that a Metal Gear Solid game would be coming to the Gamecube.

But thats not where it ends, there will also be a GBA version and the two will link in some currently unknown way.

On slightly related news Shigeru Miyamoto also stated that Nintendo are working on more sports games that are set to feature the Gamecube to GBA link.

This news is not to be taken as official as no official comments have been made and it is still partially rumours. If it is true an announcement will be made soon or during E3 in May.
