Word is that Retro Studio's much anticipated Metroid threequel will be fully playable on the show floor next month!
Think Metroid Prime but with Revolution quality visuals and controls, and if you're not already salivating more than a kid with a basket of easter eggs... well, you're probably not human. The latest on the third and final part of the Prime trilogy is that we'll definately be seeing it at E3 - and the journos will be getting all hands-on with Samus too.
According to IGN's Matt Casamassina, the title will be "fully playable" at the show, and "one of, if not the must-have game of E3 2006. This will be the game that shows all other companies how to do first-person gameplay with the Revolution controller," he concluded.
Less than a month to go until we find out if he's right...
