Nintendo UK still producing Metroid Prime Trilogy, despite discontinuation elsewhere!
Earlier this month we reported the unhappy news that Nintendo had seemingly ended production of the Metroid Prime Trilogy compilation for Wii, which updated GameCube titles Prime and Echoes along with the series' third part Corruption for Wii.
The compilation had become harder to find online and in response to fan enquiries about the title, Nintendo finally confirmed the game was "no longer being shipped" as when it had been introduced it had only been announced as having "limited availability".
Happily however, it seems Nintendo UK is bucking the trend and will still be distributing the title. Eurogamer reports that the Trilogy "has not been discontinued in the UK" and that the game is still available for shops to order from Nintendo.
It does seem like the game is still cancelled elsewhere in Europe and North America however. We'll keep you updated if we hear any more.
