News: Microsoft Want To Buy Nintendo

Oh my, what's that? Microsoft's boss likes Nintendo and he reveals his interest in buying Big-N
Bill Gates, the big-boss behind Microsoft, told to a German magazine, WirtschaftsWoche, that he would like to make an offer for the company if Yamauchi, who is until today the largest shareholder of Nintendo, indicated willingness to sell his company.
Nintendo has been in Yamauchi's family for over a century and it is highly unlikely to consider a sale to Microsoft. Microsoft had tried before to purchase Nintendo and Sega, at the time they were creating their new console, which now is the infamous Microsoft XBOX.
In my opinion this is very good news. Imagine one console with the games of both Nintendo and MS, multimedia capabilities, Internet multiplayer and no competition (PS3 what's that?)
Although it's difficult to reach such a business deal, we would like to see your thoughts. This concerns all of us Nintendo fans.
Update: Nintendo responds!
We have some news that should dim the storm. Nintendo said the company "is not for sale," following recent reports in the media.
"We are not for sale, and we have no intention of selling our operations" to Microsoft, Nintendo spokesman Yasuhiro Minagawa said.
Minagawa added that Microsoft Chairman Bill Gates may have told someone that he was interested in Nintendo, but "we haven't even heard anything from Microsoft at all."
Update: Nintendo's shares rise
As a result of the recent story Nintendo's shares have risen. Nintendo's shares saw a rise of 3.8 percent. The shares now stand at 12,580 Yen on the Osaka Securities Exchange.
