Reports have been rife on the internet over the last few days that in interview with Gamers.fr website Justin Dowdeswell of Next Level Games revealed that the friend code tied to each Mii would be universal and available for use for future online Wii titles.

However, new information reveals he has now responded to the reports of his words and said that his comments were either misunderstood, mistranslated or misconstrued.
