The strategy classic gets another chance to stretch its legs this Summer...

Strategy veterans may be familiar with the classic Hudson franchise Nectaris (Military Madness in the west). Today, the Japanese publisher announced plans to release a revamped version of Military Madness on WiiWare as well as the downloadable services for other consoles.

Released in the US in 1989 on Hudson's TurboGrafx-16, Military Madness was one of the earliest examples of turn-based strategy. The remake will feature 3D graphics, new units and online multiplayer.
