Check you 3DS for the blue LED as system version 3.0.0-6 is out now.

'Tis the season for updates apparently. While the long termed "November Update" (3.0.0-5) actually released at the start of December bringing a big overhaul including 3D Video Recording, this morning Nintendo have released another update for the Nintendo 3DS. Check your 3DS for the magical blue LED to see if your handheld downloaded the new update overnight automatically. If not you can always download it manually via the "System Settings" app menu.

Unlike the previous update however System Version 3.0.0-6 doesn't appear to be making any major changes. Nintendo's own site simply stating:

• System stability improvements and other adjustments

Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.

Though it is more than likely that this is also merely a patching of some holes in the system in order to block the use of Flash Cards and hacks.
