You asked the questions, and he answered them! Several interesting tidbits have arisen from Shigeru Miyamoto's recent web chat...
As we previously reported, interview site Webchats.tv managed to score an interview with the legendary designer and Nintendo fanboy idol Shigeru Miyamoto. The site asked Nintendo fans for questions to be posed to the man himself, and recieved an overwhelming amount - over 11,000!
Unfortunately he couldn't stick around to answer the whole amount, but he did manage to give a couple of interesting answers to the handful that were plucked from the pile. First off, there's happy news for European Animal Crossing fans, who won't miss out on the special downloadable content that gamers elsewhere in the world have got from taking the title online. Specifics weren't announced, but hopefully we'll soon be getting messages from Iwata in our Animal Crossing mailboxes too.
Talking about the Revolution controller, Shigsy commented that he was currently now experimenting with Mario and Zelda titles - making Mario jump simply by pointing at him at clicking, and refining Link's sword-swinging movements that are made by swishing the Revolution controller about to defeat the enemies on-screen.
There were no big revelations, though the gaming God did have to decline a marriage proposal from one rabid female fan. Ah, the price of fame.
