News: Miyamoto on Mario Kart and more

In a recent interview with Club Nintendo, Miyamoto revealed a few things on the upcoming E3, and some interesting tidbits on the progress of Metroid Prime and Mario Kart. Read on...
In the interview Miyamoto stated that Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda, and Metroid Prime will be fully playable at E3. He also mentioned that Nintendo is trying to have a playable demo of Mario Kart for the Nintendo GameCube.
When asked about Metroid Prime, Miyamoto seemed pleased with the project's progress, "I've seen the result and it's a mix that will please Americans, Japanese as well as Europeans, so I really look forward to the finished product. I'm enough involved in the project to be able to play the game and enjoy it."
The last question in the interview covered the topic of the Mario Kart title. Miyamoto responded, "The new Mario Kart will of course contain things that we haven't previously seen in the Mario Kart series. That's all I want to say at this point."
Seems like Mario Kart is going to be one heck of a game! We'll keep you informed.
