Shigeru Miyamoto has been questioned on the mystery controller 'shell' which allows the Revolution to play standard style games. Read his comments inside!

Speaking to Engadget, the legendary game designer said that the controller 'shell' device would look much like the traditional controller design we're all used to.

"We've got something that would be very similar in style and form to the WaveBird already complete. What that allows us to do is that we have all of these new features. We have the new functionality of the WaveBird controller and we have new ways that players will be able to interact with games."

Good news indeed, as this means multi-platform titles not designed for the Revolution controller will be easier to port - something which will please third-party developers not interested in using the Revolution controller's new functions.
