News: Miyamoto's 'Original' Game Still Coming

Shigeru Miyamoto confirms his latest projects, and reiterates his wish to nurture Nintendo's younger developers...

In an interview with the AP (video via Zoom.in Games), Nintendo legend and not-retiree has spoken about his current activities in the development process.

He cites the games he is personally involved in as the elusive Pikmin 3 - now scheduled for Wii U, Luigi's Mansion 2 on 3DS (which is being handled by Canadian studio Next Level Games) and a mystery 'original' project.

It is believed that the mystery game is one of Miyamoto's smaller projects that he's personally developing with a small team. Such a project is the type of work Miyamoto last year expressed desire to move on to.
