Monumental Games, a UK based MMO developer, are working on an as of yet unnamed, multi-platform project for Capcom.

Capcom have confirmed that they have signed a development agreement with Monumental Games, which will allow them to develop an as of yet unannounced multi-platform project, due for release later this year.

A teaser, presumably relating to this announcement, on Monumental's website reveals that they are working on a mysterious "console project" based on an existing franchise, which will feature a "substantial online element" and a gameplay focus on "pure adrenaline". It may also be interesting to note that Nintendo are listed as a platform partner on the site, too.

Monumental Games, a Nottingham-based studio and one of the largest development teams in Blighty with a workforce of over 100 people, primarily develop MMO games and are currently developing Football Superstars and Hunter's World for a 2009 release.
