A couple of days ago we reported that Peter Moore, Sega of America's president and chief executive officer, had resigned from his position. Not wasting any time, Microsoft today announced that they had hired Moore as their new corporate vice president of retail sales and marketing.

There he will oversee retail business dealing with the Xbox and Microsoft's PC games.
