Get ready for a colour infusion with the upcoming release of a new range of GameCube controllers in Japan.

Nintendo updated their Japanese website this morning with an advertisment for two new coloured controllers. Silver/Platinum and Emerald/Blue controllers will be available in Japanese stores from 5th December 2002. Wavebird incarnations in the new shades will also be available. No word from Nintendo Europe on when or if these new controllers will be available here, but we'll keep you posted.
