Hudson brings more Bonking and Bombing to WiiWare next year...

Avid WiiWare-supporter Hudson has planned to bring two new iterations of classic franchises to Nintendo's download service, as well as PSN and XBLA.

First up is Bomberman Live: Battlefest, which will be following on from the successful WiiWare title Bomberman Blast. The game features local multi-player and eitht-person online matches. New modes along for the ride include Capture the Flag, VIP and Bankroll - a mode where points are traded in for power-ups.

Another sequel on the way looks set to revitalise an aged franchise. Bonk: Brink of Extinction will also be heading to WiiWare. The caveman made famous on the PC Engine returns in an all-new 2.5D platforming adventure. New power-ups and transformations drop by in both single-player mode and co-op mode. The game is also confirmed to feature online play.

No price points were revealed for either game, but both are expected to hit WiiWare in Spring 2010.
