Whether Japanese games would appear on the Virtual Console or not has always been a question that people have always been thinking about. With the recent release of Japan only Virtual Console things are looking good, now things are looking better. For the next two weeks the European Virtual Console will see two Japanese only titles with it's own theme. This week the theme was "Mario" with the release of Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels for the NES and Mario's Super Picross for the SNES. Look below for the next two weeks for the Virtual Console.

On the 21st of September, the theme will be "Ninja Week", with two Ninja titles being released for the NES. And those titles are Ninja Gaiden and Ninja JaJaMaru-kun.

On the 28th of September, the theme will be "Sci-Fi Week", with two Sci-Fi titles, one being released on the SNES and another released for the N64. The SNES title is Gradius III and next is Sin and Punishment.

Sin and Punishment has long been speculated as the next N64 title since it got it's rating in Australia, so faithful readers, you can now rest at ease with a confirmation of the release date.
