Some new information has surfaced for the gory cel-shaded WiiWare title, Last Flight.
Earlier this year, it was revealed that new games development studio Bloober Team were in the process of developing a new title for WiiWare called Last Flight. You play as Larry the chef, who finds himself on a plane which has been overrun with vampires (and yes, Larry is the only one who can stop the horde of blood-sucking beasties). Presented in a very gory comic-book style, Last Flight looked to be yet another fantastic and original offering for the booming service. Some new details have surfaced for the title today, and we find ourselves anticipating the title even more!
The main character has been detailed a bit more, and we now know that Larry's diabolical motives are to travel from America to Europe to hunt down the food critics who gave him a bad review. On the condemned plane, Larry will meet Anna, a Romanian whose father is a vampire. Anna is going back to Europe to kill her father, interestingly. Anna has been confirmed to be a playable character alongside Larry.
Next up is Jan, a vampire flying on the plane with the objective of infecting the other passengers. We'd imagine that Jan will be the game's main antagonist. It has also been confirmed that you will be able to team up with other survivors, but with the risk that they'll stab you in the back later on (think Bill Nighy in Shaun of the Dead). Finally, the plane will be collossal, so there should be no worries about the game being short or having a small area to fight in.
Last Flight is currently set for a WiiWare release in Q1 2009.
