Fresh from the GDC, confirmations of a Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King sequel, as well as FFIV: The After Years, both for WiiWare.

During Nintendo president Satoru Iwata's speech at the Game Developer's Conference today, he confirmed two new WiiWare titles heading to the downloadable service. First off, a sequel to WiiWare launch title Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a King.

Entitled My Life as a Dark Lord, the game explores the player becoming a malevolent ruler, rather than benevolent one. First screens and more information can be found here.

Also announced is Final Fantasy IV sequel The After Years, previously available for Japanese mobile phones.
