The Pokémon Company CEO hints that BOTH DS and 3DS-owning Pokémon fans should look forward to more nice surprises soon...

While much of the world is still playing Pokémon Black/White, The Pokémon Company never stops cooking up new titles. Andriasang has reported that the studio's CEO Tsunekazu Ishihara has hinted to Famitsu that fans can look for more surprise announcements later this year.

Ishihara reportedly said that players will be surprised just as they were previously in the year, presumably referring to the likes of the free Pokédex 3D app. If you're expecting a straight-up 3DS title though, you may want to alter your expectations. The CEO was keen to mention that the team are still looking to accommodate DS owners, even while they explore what's possible on 3DS. Whether this will mean some sort of DS-3DS connectivity in the developer's next big project remains to be confirmed.
