Coming to a Wii near you next year!

The latest update in the Mortal Kombat franchise will be making its debut on the Wii in the first quarter of 2007.

Details about this title, published by Midway, are currently unknown. At the moment, all that appears to be known at this moment in time is the title, the date when we can roughly expect it, and the fact that it will be coming out for Wii.

Update: It appears that the information is slowly starting to arrive. According to various sources, this new Mortal Kombat title will be include a "Kreate a fighter" mode, as well as the ability to create mid air combos and fatalities on the fly!

Not only that, but this game promises to include the entire Mortal Kombat lineup. Soon, you may be able to choose from over 60 characters! More on this news as soon as it breaks.
