The popular kids online game is coming to the Nintendo 3DS later this year.

Mind Candy has announced that their popular Moshi Monsters online game/social network is coming to the Nintendo 3DS later this year, courtesy of Activision.

The London-based studio has had tremendous success with Moshi Monsters, with subscriptions soaring and merchandise, including toys, a soundtrack and Moshi Monsters: Moshling Zoo for the DS, flying off the shelves.

Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park for the Nintendo 3DS will give players the chance to restore the Moshi theme park to its former glory, developing each of the six areas one at a time while releasing Moshlings.

The game will take advantage of StreetPass and also unlock a brand new Moshling that can be transferred to the online game. Codes will also be used to connect fans and offer promotional material. This scheme has worked so far with other Moshi Monsters merchandise and given the success of Moshi Monsters: Moshling Zoo this new title is bound to be popular with younger audiences.
