Nintendo of Japan have announced an MP3 and MPEG4 player for the GBA:SP. One begins to wonder if the PSP is the reason!

NoJ have announced the MP3 MPEG4 player for the GBA, it seems to work by allowing an SD card, to be inserted into the player with your files on, these files can then be played out on the GBA SP

As its all Japanese to me(!) I'll wait until more is announced later. Hopefully the player will work through the GBA slot on the DS, allowing the DS to take on more multi-media functions. Stay Tuned to find out

It seems the player is being made directly by Nintendo. The player also has a built in headphone socket and will be released in February
