The DS incarnation of Namco's popular RPG series will be called Tales of the Tempest!

Namco has now revealed the name of it's DS entry in the Tales series. Announced as in development a few months ago, the title has been referred to until now simply as "Tales DS".

A minisite for the game has been launched here, though the only thing on the site right now is a piece of artwork depicting a character from the game (we're guessing it's the main character, though we could be wrong). Aged fifteen and at a height of 165cm, his name is "Caius Qualls" and he is apparently on a journey to find his true parents who are not of the human race.

The game is scheduled for a Japanese release sometime in 2006. More as it breaks.
