Want more content for your WiiWare titles? Just download some more... for a price.

Japanese gaming bible Famitsu has reported that the upcoming downloadable WiiWare title Mojipittan, a word puzzle game already released on the PS2, PSP and DS, will allow for extra stages and items to be downloaded if you pay more after downloading it initially and expand the game.

That's not to say that the title will initially come without enough content - with over 200 all new stages and an expanded dictionary of 120,000 words. Multiplayer will also be included, with two players using one Wii-mote.

Its interesting to have the ability to do this confirmed. On the one hand its similar to the already utilised "Update" service for downloading newer versions of Wii Channels (and occasionally, Virtual Console software). The fact that you can also pay for extra content opens up the incentive for developers to create quality extras that can be downloaded for a few extra Wii Points.
