Today NEC announced plans to enter the European and American Videogame market.

NEC's Videogame Department Interchannel wants to begin launching videogames this month in Europe and USA. Until now Interchannel has only been a publisher and developer in Japan and other Asian countries and today NEC's Executive Vice President Clint Kurahashi (former executive at Capcom) said the time was right now to enter the western market.
Interesting for Cube-Owners is the announcement that NEC's first game in EU/US will be Tube Slider, a futuristic racing game that will be released this month on the Gamecube.
