The American video-streaming service will be available on Nintendo's console later this year...
The New York Times is reporting that film rental giant Netflix will be releasing its online video streaming service on US Wiis this Spring.
The service - already available on Xbox 360 and PS3 - will give Netflix customers (who subscribe to the main service at $9 a month) unlimited access to its video catalogue online. To watch films online on Wii, users will have to insert a special Netflix software DVD into their console, which will be shipped to customers at no additional cost.
With an official announcement due later today, the service is due to be available to Wii owners this Spring.
