Bit.Trip Runner

News: New Bit.Trip Available To Download Today

Bit.Trip Runner headlines this week's latest serving of downloadable goodness - details inside.

Aksys Games brings their fourth addition to the Bit.Trip series this week. Costing 800 Points, Bit.Trip Runner sees CommanderVideo take on his most epic journey yet as he runs, jumps, slides and kicks his way through more than 50 levels.

Also this week on is an additional fifth case for Phoenix Wright, created especially for the DS, but now available on WiiWare too. It costs 100 Points and can only be played as an add-on to the WiiWare version of the game.

The Wii again sees a single piece of Virtual Console love this week, with LucasArts' Ghoul Patrol coming available. For 800 Points you can go back in time and de-spook an encyclopedia of zombified historic characters.

And on DSiWare this week:

  • AiRace, from QubicGames, an aerial racing title costing 500 Points
  • Brain Drain, from Enjoy Up Games, an unscrambling-puzzle game, also for 500 Points
  • Chronos Twins, from Enjoy Gaming, a time-travelling action-adventure game that was also released on WiiWare recently, although originally was a standard DS title too. Costing 500 Points, we gave it a 7/10
  • Fire Panic, from Playtainment, an against-the-clock fire-fighting title for just 200 Points
  • Sudoku Challenge! from Digital Leisure, unsurprisingly yet another Sudoku game for the system - this time with over 100,000,000 puzzles though - the most we've seen yet, for 500 Points

Sam Gittins will have a review of Ghoul Patrol in next issue of VC Weekly - in the meantime though, what are you downloading?
