Prepare to get that rusty old brain back into shape as Nintendo are planning on releasing another Brain Training title soon.

Professor Ryuta Kawashima, who lends his name and polygonal likeliness to the popular Brain Training series, has confirmed that Nintendo are working on a third title in the series in his new book 'Saraba Nou Game' ('Farewell Brain Games').

Adriasang report that while Professor Kawashima is sworn to secrecy over the contents of the new title he did confirm that it is in development. It is currently not known whether the game is being developed for the DS or the upcoming 3DS.

In his book Professor Kawashima states that the game is due out at the end of 2010, which could mean it is due either at the end of the tax year (which ends in April) or he was not aware that the 3DS has been pushed back until early next year.

In spite of the success of the Brain Training games there has not been a new version since More Brain Training was released in 2007. Allegedly Satoru Iwata did not want to make a new title until they came up with a "special idea". We'll have to wait and see exactly what this special idea is.
