News: New Cooking Mama-Style Game For DS

Nintendo announces a new cooking game. If it'll help us advance past the days of eating cold beans out of the tin and pies laced in our own tears, count us in!
Along with three new DS Lite colours, Nintendo has announced Cooking Guide: Can't Decide What To Eat? to happily sit alongside them on 20 June. According to the press release, Cooking Guide goes beyond what cookbooks offer with step-by-step guides to making 250 international dishes. Unless we're mistaken, you can't search a cookbook for a certain recipe as easily as you can with this game either; thanks to dish search options, you'll never waste time finding instructions on how to microwave a lasagne for one again!
Once you've decided what you want to create (through diverse criteria such as origin, difficulty level, and even the amount of calories in that particular recipe) the in-game chef will talk you through it. Since you'll probably be cooking while playing the game (unless you're the type of person who enjoys flicking through the Yellow Pages), you won't have to pick up the stylus; instead, you're able to use the DS microphone to advance. You'll also be able to repeat each step whenever in case you make a mistake or aren't sure what to do next.
The coolest features are yet to be mentioned though! Can't Decide What To Eat? can be used to create a shopping list for a certain meal, features an A to Z guide of cooking terminology (and just about everything to do with food mmm!) and, get this, even serves as a kitchen timer!
