News: New Dragon Ball Z For Wii

Dragon Ball Z: Sparkling! METEOR announced in Japan..

Not much information on this one, other than the announcement itself. Dragon Ball Z: Sparkling! METEOR has been announced for theNintendo Wii in Japanese magazine Shonen Jump.

The first Dragon Ball Z game on Wii, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2 was known in Japan as Dragon Ball Z: Sparkling! NEO, so it looks like that the game will be the sequel to Budokai Tenkaichi 2, a fighting game released on the Wii in Europe a few months ago, which had both Wii Remote/Nunchuck and Classic Controller methods of controlling the game.

Update: The game has been officially named as Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3 and is due for release during the 2007 holiday season. The game will have 20 new characters, enhanced fighting techniques, "beautifully refined" effects and shading techniques, and more battle stages. Atari also claim that it will have improved Wii Controls and a day/night scheme - where the moon will alter some abilities.

Another Update: New images have arrived.
