Some things concerning the saving method and GB compatibility.
Recently Nintendo held a conference for the DS developers and revealed that every DS cartridge will include RAM for saving. What does this mean? That every DS cartige will have space between 4 kilobits (standard GBA save size) and 512 kilobits depending on the game. In the past rumours said that the DS cartiges won't have internal RAM for saving and that we would be using passwords. But now we must be happy.
Also yesterday NOA held a teleconference regarding the Nintendo DS. Three Nintendo executives Reggie Fils-Aime (Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing). George Harrison (Senior Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Communications) and Perrin Kaplan (Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Affairs) were in attendance. Among other things there are some bad news, we all wanted not to come true. First the Nintendo DS won't be able to play GB and GBC games. So if you have a GBA and many GB games, keep it. Last one is that GBA games will be playable in the DS only in single player mode and won't have any graphics or sound enhancements.
