Since the release of the DS Lite, Japan and Europe have seen various different coloured versions of the handheld. However, Americans have been left in the dark, as they could only get their hands on the white DS Lite. But, all that is going to change, pretty soon...

The Black and Pink versions of the DS Lite will be hitting the shores of our friends across the sea on 13th September. The Black version, dubbed "onyx", has previously been released in Europe. The Pink model has also been released in Japan, since July infact, but now it seems like Americans can finally have more of a choice about which colour is available to them.
