News: New E For All Expo Details

The successor to E3 has been given a firm date at last.

Many of us were disappointed to here that our beloved E3 event was being cancelled. Cancelled?! That's like...cancelling Christmas, or something. For gamers, anyway.

However, news then emerged afterwards that there would be some kind of replacement event. Recently, that event was named as the "E for All Expo" and it would even take place at the Los Angeles Convention Centre, which is where E3 was previously held.

Now, it's also become clear that the Expo will take place during October 18th - 20th.

"We've witnessed a growing demand for a consumer-focused interactive entertainment show these last few years - both from consumers and from the industry," said Mary Dolaher, executive VP of IDG World Expo.

"E for All Expo will offer an unprecedented opportunity for people who share a passion for games to try before they buy - and to interact with the people who created them."

Sounds quite promising. As the new year has only just began, October seems a long way off. However, we'll bring you more information about E for All as it comes in.
