News: New Gardens Info and Scans

Some new information about EA's 3DS title Gardens has been released in Famitsu.

Gardens was the first title EA announced for the 3DS some months ago. Their gardening simulator challenges players to make the most beautiful garden in the world with the help from a Tanuki, a raccoon-like creature from Japanese folklore.

Some new information in the latest issue of Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, as translated by Andriasang, reveals that the game is making good progress. The Tanuki now has a name, Ponta, and is still used to give you help and advice while organising your garden.

The 3DS' touch screen will be used to show the full map and position items so you can better organise your garden. Some of the 3DS' capabilities will be used as well, with the ability to shake the 3DS to make insects scuttle or whistle into the microphone to attract birds.

While no release date has been set it is due in Spring, just after the 3DS' release in Japan. Stay tuned for more information.
