According to recent details Giftpia is set to feature multiple players and have no real goal, just like Animal Crossing.

The newspaper also added that Giftpia's creators Skip Ltd were the first company created with the money from Nintendo's "Fund-Q". It also stated that Nintendo has provided half of Giftpia's 500 million yen (about $4.5 million USD) budget.

It may be a mis-translation but the article stated that,
"The game will be marketed for use with Nintendo game consoles from April."
This means the game is likely to feature GBA hookup, maybe in similar ways as Animal Crossing. The game is due out in America on April 25th.
