Harrison Ford's tough, whip-cracking archaeologist will apparently be taking part in a new adventure on the DS.

Remember that Indiana Jones game that LucasArts were working on a few years ago which took advantage of the highly-touted Euphoria engine (highly advanced physics which can be seen in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed next month)? The game seemingly slipped away into the dark abyss of development hell, and we haven't heard anything about it since (LucasArts have presumably been putting their efforts into The Force Unleashed).

A PEGI rating has surfaced for the Nintendo DS and PSP which reveals that Activision will be bringing a new Indy adventure to gamers, entitled Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings. The game has been rated as 16+ for strong violence, a far cry from Lego Indiana Jones and the film quadrilogy.

We won't turn down another chance to don the Fedora and whip of the world famous archaeologist - it'll be even better if there's also a Wii version in the oven.
