A special crimson and black iQue DS Lite is on the cards for China.

China received the DS Lite on June 29th 2006 under the iQue brand, after waiting for over a year. The console has proven successful in China, and Satoru Iwata announced plans to bring the Wii to China late last year (most likely to combat the atrociously poor Chintendo Vii).

Today, plans have been announced to bring a special edition version of the iQue DS Lite to China. The design will be extremely similar to the crimson and black coloured Lite seen in the USA last year, with some lovely oriental dragon designs adorning the front of the portable. It's a shame that Europe doesn't get many special edition DS consoles...
