It most certainly is a wonderful world... in Japan.

The DS and DS Lite have received more cosmetic work and changes than Joan Rivers, and that steady supply of new limited edition incarnations have not yet showed signs of coming to a halt. Square-Enix, who have previously released limited edition Final Fantasy III and Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings DS Lites, are now preparing an It's a Wonderful World version, which will be bundled with a copy of their upcoming game (It's a Wonderful World, in case you didn't already guess).

The game sees you step into the shoes of Neku, a young lad with psychic powers who is forced to play "Death's Game" by the sinister Shinigami Corp. Unless the game is completed in less than seven days, then Neku and all the other children forced to take part in the morbid challenge will be erased from existence by the evil puppetmasters controlling them...

The special edition DS Lite bundle and the actual game It's a Wonderful World will be released exclusively in Japan on July 27th 2007. Click here to see a picture of the new DS Lite.
