A sequel of the fastest selling movie tie-in ever, Enter the Matrix, is already in development by Shiny, to be ready for the launch when the next movie, The Matrix Revolutions, will be out.

Or at least that is a rumour that was confidentially revealed by an Atari representative to Game Power Australia, but, of course, the fact that a new game of such a best selling franchise is under development is hardly a surprise.

Shiny have confirmed that they "will be doing another Matrix game" but it wont be released until "around Christmas 2004".. Another game is being developed, a spokesperson told C&VG they are "also doing another one [a Matrix game] around 2006,"
