According to reports, Nintendo of Japan have created a new development studio in the heart of Tokyo.

This new development studio will be dedicated to developing games exclusively for Nintendo machines. Comprised of around 60 persons, the team is rather excitingly composed of former employees of many large and proliferous development and publishing houses, including:
*Capcom
*Namco
*Konami
*Square-Enix
*SEGA

Good news indeed! Although there are no firm announcements regarding specific titles or platform of development, rumour has it that two titles are currently in the pipeline. With the recent announcement of the Nintendo DS Portable, could this studio be designed to get the best out of Nintendos new machine? With a team such as this, it would be hard to imagine anything other than top-quality titles �unless the development team ritualistically smeared themselves with banana peel and sang about custard all day.
