Sonic Team reportedly confirmed details of upgrades for the Gamecube version of Phantasy Star Online. Specifically, aside from four-player compatibility, the game will feature a new beach-style area. Players can expect intricate background designs including interactive water areas. Moreover, a handful of enemies are being designed exclusively for the new level including a flower-like monster. Despite releasing these details, Sega are yet to confirm a release date.
