A new Picross game from Jupiter hits the Japanese eShop in a matter of days!

Fans of the so-addictive-it-should-be-illegal number puzzle game Picross will be jumping for joy today. It has been revealed that a set of brain-teasers from Picross DS developer Jupiter is hitting the 3DS eShop.

Picross E will be made available in Japan on July 27th for the low, low price of 500 yen. It looks to be a definitive upgrade over Picross DS, with the improved resolution of the 3DS touch-screen meaning you'll no longer have to zoom in and out of the larger 15x15 puzzles.

No word yet on a release outside Japan, but the game's official website, including the first lovely screens, has gone live.
