Japanese viewers of the Pokémon Sunday variety show were teased this morning with news that next Sunday's edition of the show would feature world-exclusive news about a mystery Pokémon game...

Our friends over at top Poké-site Serebii.net report that a new Pokémon Gold/Silver re-make is most likely on the cards, possibly along the lines of Pokémon Fire Red/Leaf Green.

In a way it sort of makes sense, since the DS trilogy of titles is now completed, and there is obviously still a long way to go until Nintendo launches its next new handheld. But would you buy another Pokémon re-make? And will we be seeing re-makes of Pokémon Platinum in ten years time?
