Famitsu magazine shows off shots of what could be a new princess in Super Mario Galaxy. Spoilers within...

Famitsu magazine has shown of some new screens of Super Mario Galaxy.

The scans show of pictures of a new female character in a blue dress and a crown, her facial features similar to Princess Peach's, but overall she looking quite different. The scans suggest that her name is Rosetta, and after all, when has Princess Peach ever glowed like that?

Other new things in the scan include a giant Goomba, what look like collectable music notes, and a few new areas. Stay tuned for more Mario Galaxy news.

Super Mario Galaxy is due for release Q4 2007 in Europe.
