Part Harvest Moon farming sim, part Final Fantasy looking RPG, this is Rune Factory! Check out the latest scans inside!

Marvelous Interactive recently revealed this game - a new take on their Harvest Moon series. Featuring monsters to battle - and eventually train up to help you, this is Harvest Moon as you've never seen it before.

These scans come from Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, who managed to get a good look at the game in their latest issue. Click below to enlarge:

Update: Confirmed to be an online title! IGN has word that you'll be able to exchange messages with players in other towns (sounds a bit Animal Crossing-esque) plus you can open up a shop to sell items. There should be other online features beyond this, though no mention of co-op play.
