WARNING: SPOILERS BELOW!

The latest issue of Nintendo Power, courtesy of Nintendo Everything, states that Nintendo has been working hard on ensuring the world seems real and to that end objects are very much interactive. If you're the clumsy sort you'll soon notice that things can be bumped into and knocked down, including vases, plates, plant pots and much more.

Skyloft will feature a number of locations including a bathhouse, a toilet and a bazaar, which includes an item shop, potion shop, fortune teller, scrap shop to upgrade items and a storage facility. Early on in the game you will need to visit the scrap shop with two amber relics, one monster claw, and one jelly blob to transform your wooden shield into the Banded Shield.

Eldin Province makes a return, previously featured in Twilight Princess, and is now very hot due to its lava streams, resulting in all plant life being left barren. In here you'll find Pyrups, which hide in small gaps or the remains of other beings and breath fire at anyone who comes nearby.

It seems that the Bokooblins wish to take over Eldin and have set up a village nearby, but Link quickly comes and defeats them and destroys their watchtowers.

The Earth Temple in Skyward Sword has a Chinese dragon theme and even features a giant sphere, which was formally the eyeball of a statue, that you must roll around on in order to navigate through the lava. While navigating through the temple on the sphere you must use bombs to create new paths to follow. If being surrounded by lava wasn't difficult enough the boss, Pyroclastic Fiend Spaldera, can burst into flames whenever it wants and you must attack it with bombs. Spaldera has been described as Dodongo-like in his tendencies by Nintendo Power.
