Ubisoft have revealed some more details on their upcoming 'dating adventure', Sprung for the Nintendo DS.

Formerly known as Crush, you take the role of a lonely man/women with your objective to chat up and fix a date with the sexiest single you can find. Not the most epic story ever but its original at least. You choose your own lifestyle and your character can be how you decide. You could earn respect from all those that love you or you could push them away from you if you aren't respectful to them. Saying the wrong things to those who take your fancy may put them off you so you'll have to find another fish in the sea.

Here are some cool features of sprung officially announced by Ubisoft:
- Take the role of a male or a female.
- 50+ 'Dating missions'
- You will use Items and gifts how you like in order to entice your lover.
- Grab the love of your special person before someone else steals them from under your nose.
- A wide range of responses and pick up lines leave you to decide your choice.

Comments will be chosen using the stylus and the characters facial expressions will be displayed on the two screens. The game sounds original and includes some impressive ideas but we would love it to see it take more advantage of the DS's features.

The dating sim has already received success in Japan, and Ubisoft have the confidence to bring a game like this to the west. If its a hit in the states then Europe could be a very likely release. We'll keep you updated on one of Ubisoft's first titles on the Nintendo DS
