Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! is the third game in Rare's brilliant platforming franchise for the SNES. Released in Europe in December 1996, the game puts you in the shoes (do monkeys wear shoes?) of Dixie and Kiddy Kong who are on a mission to rescue Donkey and Diddy Kong from the clutches of Baron K. Roolenstein and the Kremling Krew.

According to Go Nintendo, Donkey Kong Country 3 has been rated by PEGI for a European release, which most likely means it's coming for the Virtual Console. Could this be one of the last games released before Christmas on the Wii Shopping Channel?
