A new installment in the series is in the works from Eidos and it is expected to be released in Summer 2005.

Top Cow Productions, which is a comic book publisher, announced recently in their press release that the Lara Croft: Tomb Raider comic book will re-launch in conjunction with the new Tomb Raider video game in the summer of 2005.

"Once we spoke with Eidos and realized they were changing Lara Croft up quite a bit it seemed a prudent course to wrap up what we're doing now and prepare for the newer version sometime late next year", Matt Hawkins, president of Top Cow, said.

They didn't announce specific video game platforms and after the disappointing Angel of Darkness, we hope this new game to have a release in the GameCube. Cross your fingers.
