News: NGC Development Most Expensive

Developing games is an expensive task on the GameCube.

The CESA (computer Entertainment Supplier's Association), has recently conducted an analysis of the Japanese games market and brought up a rather interesting fact.

Games development on the GameCube is currently the most expensive of all the formats with an average cost per game of �72Million (�525,000).

The cheapest console to develop for was the PSOne, with an average cost of �14Million (�102,000).

This data is based on the analysis of results obtained from 43 Japanese software producers.
